Roofing works in Central Scotland vary from slates on older or within Planning restricted area’s to concrete interlocking roofing tiles to cedar shingles in a few locations.

Slated roofs have a long lifespan if maintained correctly, concrete tiles are a modern covering and less expensive alternative for slate replacement, shingles are not as common but all do one simple job keeping us dry so they all need maintained to ensure we reduce significant costs if left unattended.

People rarely look at their roof unless its causing a problem and by that stage its possibly too late, maintenance is the way forward with these and all roofs should at least be checked annually.
